1 · TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply to everyone with an account on nerdybimbo.nexus, and to anyone from another Matrix server who joins our rooms and spaces. Some spaces add their own rules on top. For example, Doorbot shows you Porncess Peach's Palace entry rules before inviting you there.

1.1 Age requirement

Accounts belonging to minors are removed and permanently banned. If you think a minor is using the server, please tell us at porncesspeach@nerdybimbo.nexus.

1.2 Zero tolerance: immediate permanent ban

• Child sexual abuse material of any kind, and any sexual content depicting or implying minors, whether real, drawn, written or AI-generated. We report it to law enforcement.
• Sexual content of a real, identifiable person without their consent. That includes revenge porn, leaked or hidden-camera material, and deepfakes or AI edits of real people.
• Real non-consent. Consensual non-consent (CNC) is only allowed as clearly framed fantasy between consenting adults.
• Content that is illegal under Canadian federal law or European Union law.
• Doxxing: publishing someone's private identifying information.

1.3 Conduct

• No harassment, targeted abuse, hate speech or threats.
• No spam, unsolicited advertising or mass messaging.
• Ask before sending anything sexual in a DM.
• No impersonating other users, staff or anyone else.
• Don't attack, exploit or abuse the server or its bots.
• One account per person. Invite codes are for one person, and you're responsible for who you invite.

1.4 Adult content

• Everyone depicted in explicit content must be a real, consenting adult.
• Explicit content only goes in rooms meant for it, labelled according to that room's rules. Table Top Talk, Queer Nexus and the Esoteric & Occult Club are SFW.
• The laws where you live still apply to you, whatever a room allows.

1.5 Enforcement

Rules are enforced by Draupnir, our automated moderation bot, shared community ban lists and human moderators. Moderators may remove content, remove people from rooms, or suspend and ban accounts. Serious violations mean an immediate permanent ban, and illegal content is reported to the authorities. To appeal a ban, email porncesspeach@nerdybimbo.nexus. This is a small community server run on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of availability. We may change these terms, and we'll announce significant changes.

2 · PRIVACY POLICY

nerdybimbo.nexus is run by one administrator (see Contact), who is the data controller under the GDPR. We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), and to keep the server safe and lawful (legitimate interests and legal obligations). Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.

2.1 What we collect

• Account: your username (Matrix ID), a password hash (never the password itself), the email address you verified at signup, when you accepted these terms, and any invite codes you create for friends.
• Profile and settings: display name, avatar, and anything you set with Doorbot, such as badges, pronouns, tags and which spaces you joined.
• Security and operations: IP addresses, device names, login sessions and server logs, used to run the service and stop abuse.
• Content: messages and media you post, room memberships, and timestamps.

We use your email only for account verification, password resets and, if you turn them on, notifications. We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other sites.

2.2 What we can and can't read

• End-to-end encrypted: direct messages, private group chats, and the Palace's 🔒 Very NSFW room. They're encrypted on your device, and we can't read them.
• Not end-to-end encrypted: the community channels inside our spaces. Their messages and media are stored on the server in readable form, so moderators can keep them safe and new members can read past conversations. Moderators only look at them to moderate, for example to review a report.

2.3 ID verification (optional)

The Palace's members-only rooms need a photo-ID check. If you type !verify, a staff member takes your request (Doorbot tells you who), and you send them, in an end-to-end encrypted direct message, a photo of your ID showing only your photo and date of birth (please cover everything else), plus a selfie or short video of you holding it with a one-time code Doorbot gives you. Only that staff member sees them. After deciding, they delete those messages. We keep only the result (verified or not) and when it happened. The deleted files stay encrypted and unreadable on the server until it automatically removes them, within 90 days.

2.4 Other companies involved

Some of these companies may process data outside the EU under their own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

2.5 How long we keep it

• Account data: for as long as your account exists.
• Messages: for as long as the room exists. When a message is deleted it disappears for everyone straight away, but the server keeps its original content for 28 days so it can be handed to the police if it turns out to be illegal. After that it's erased.
• Evidence of illegal content: media reported as possibly illegal is locked away, viewable by no one, and kept only as long as the law requires, normally 21 days after police are notified.
• Media: files uploaded to our server are deleted after 90 days without being viewed. Media cached from other servers is deleted after 30 days.
• Logs: server logs are kept for up to 14 days.
• Backups: daily backups are kept on the server for 7 days. The encrypted off-site copy can take up to about 5 weeks to be fully deleted.

2.6 Federation

Matrix is a federated network. When you talk with people on other servers, your messages, profile and membership are sent to those servers, as the protocol requires. Their own policies apply there, and we can't delete data they hold.

2.7 Our websites

Our web pages use no tracking or advertising cookies. They store one note in your browser saying you passed the 18+ check, so the check doesn't reappear on every visit. The web chat app (Cinny) stores your login session in your browser.

3 · YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR (EU) and PIPEDA (Canada) you can ask to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your account and data. Copies already sent to other federated servers are outside our control.
• Restrict or object to some kinds of processing.

Email porncesspeach@nerdybimbo.nexus and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your national data protection authority, or in Canada to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
